Carmen C. Garnes

Carmen C. Garnes, age 69, passed away on July 6, 2023.

She was born on October 9, 1953, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Harold and Margareta (Schenk) Muffley.

Carmen graduated from Girard High School. She worked for the American Red Cross while her husband was stationed in Germany.

Carmen was a member of First Church of God. She loved reading her bible and crocheting.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, the love of her life, Ralph Garnes; her children, Teresa (Brett) Lindsey, Angel (Donald) Maxon, Keith Wagner Jr., Danielle (Troy) Wagner, Julia (Adam) Klingler, Bonnie Wagner and Heather King; twenty-two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Alma Issac, Mary Thomsick, and Marilyn (Jack) Gordon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nikki Wagner; grandchildren, Alexis and Carmen; and father-in-law, Nelson Garnes Sr.

A funeral service will be held at the First Church of God on Saturday, July 15th at 1:00 p.m.
