Carol A. Anderson, age 61, of Alliance, died at 5:38 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born June 10, 1946 in Alliance to Joseph Sr. and Olantha (Graves) Andrews and was a lifelong resident.
Carol was a graduate of Alliance High School. She was a Jehovah Witness of the Kingdom Hall, Alliance East Congregation.
She was employed by the Alliance School System.
Carol is survived by daughters, Nicole Anderson and Yolanda (Demetrius) Freeman both of Alliance; grandchildren, Devon Daniels and Amare Freeman, both of Alliance; siblings, Wilavena Williams of Dayton, Joseph Jr. (Betty) Andrews of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, Adolph (Linda) Andrews of Alliance, Geraldine Harrington of Alliance, Corrine (Jack) Jackson of Columbus, GA, Rita Winters of Alliance, Brenda (Andrew) Reid of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Dennis (Vanessa) Andrews of Alliance.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Alberta Godwin, Beatrice James, Milton Andrews, Gilbert Andrews and Gordon Andrews.
Services will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Brother Michael Stovall officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
