Carol-Ann (Cowen) Mudore

Carol-Ann (Cowen) Mudore, age 66, of Alliance, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at her home.

She was born September 28, 1953, in Alliance, Ohio to Donald E. and Doris H. (Middleton) Cowen.

A 1971 graduate of Alliance High School, Carol-Ann was homecoming queen her freshman year.

Carol-Ann had a heart of gold, and was always willing to help those less fortunate. She was a Christian woman who loved her family and was very proud of them. She also loved her dog, Maggie May.

Survivors include her sister, Ginny Curran; nephew, Sean Curran (Kelsey Stamborski); close friends, Michael “Spyder” Kerns and Lori Lear Ross; and her dog, Maggie May.

Carol-Ann was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy Koch.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2020, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor David Ashbrook officiating. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter or substance abuse organization of the donor’s choice.
