Carol Bargdill

Carol Louise Bargdill, age 71, of Alliance, died at 12:15 p.m. April 29, 2005 at home.
Mrs. Bargdill was born in Springfield, Ohio on March 4, 1934 to Don and Ruth (Kerns) Rupert, and was a graduate of Springfield High School, moving to Alliance in 1971 from Marion.
She was a member of Home City, Chapter #258, Order of the Eastern Star. Carol enjoyed knitting and watching Cincinnati Red's games.
She is survived by her husband Paul Bargdill, whom she married in 1953, two sons, Jim of Jacksonville, Florida and Craig of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Bruce Bargdill.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Oakland Presbyterian Church in Springfield with Rev. Laurie Davis officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Order of Eastern Star services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be in South Solon Cemetery.
