Carol A. Peters

Carol A. (Addison) Peters, age 87, of Alliance, passed away at 5:13 p.m., July 13, 2015, at her home.
She was born February 10, 1928, in Alliance, Ohio, to Robert K. and Francis W. (Richards) Addison.
An Alliance High School graduate, Carol was a homemaker and had been employed as a nurse's aid at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was a member of the Science Hill Community Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Peters, whom she married December 26, 1947; children, Bruce (Hedy) Peters of Colorado, Craig Peters of Alliance, Dana Peters of Bradenton, Florida, and Mary Jo Myers, Nancy Peters and Jon (Lori) Peters, all of Alliance; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Russell G. (Eleanor) Addison of Sarasota, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Robert 'Bob' Addison, Martha J. Arnold, Edith M. Graffice and Bill E. Addison.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Science Hill Community Church with Pastor Jonathan Truax officiating.
