Carol Lynn Reese, age 58, of Alliance, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at Arbors At Canton.
She was born, February 11, 1951 in Alliance, Ohio, to George Walter and Barbara June (Wilson) Messenheimer.
A 1970 graduate of Alliance High School, Carol was employed at Mount Union College in food service.
A member of Christ United Methodist Church, Carol was formerly active in the Alliance School System, loved raising her children and enjoyed camping with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Ray Reese, whom she married June 17, 1972; two sons, Jason (Tiffani) Reese and Jonathan Reese, both of Alliance; grandson, Karter; five sisters, Sherryann (Walter) Manley of Candia, NH, Martha (Keith) Reed of Canton, Mary Morris of Alliance, Patti (Donald) Shaffer of Hartville and Susan (Richard) Schuller of Mansfield and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, co-officiated by Rev. Chris Martin and Rev. David Hostetler. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 470 E. Broadway St., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
