Caroline Jo (Lembright) Kunz age 75, of Alliance, died January 2, 2014.
She was born April 6, 1938, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Dr. Joseph Frederick and Audra (Webb) Lembright.
Caroline was a graduate of Alliance High School and Mount Union College. She worked as a Licensed Social Worker for the Alliance Community Hospital, Eastern Stark County Mental Health, Children's Service Board of Summit County and Dade County Department of Child Welfare in Miami, Florida.
She was a member of the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church Women's Circle. Caroline was a member of The Tri-Delta College Women's Club, 3rd Worthy Advisor for Rainbow Girls, and also an active volunteer for Alliance Meals on Wheels and Alliance Red Cross Blood Bank.
Survivors include her sons, Edmund Scott Kunz (fiancé, Cheryl Gimbara), and Daniel (Candy) Michael Kunz, both of Marlboro Township; sisters, Sue Cinquini of Alliance, Linda Bandy of Homeworth, and Martha Day of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Emily, Eddie, Colin, and Garret; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund Earl Kunz, who she married November 24, 1962; and maternal grandmother, Alma (Pollock) Webb of East Liverpool.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church 1845 S. Sawburg Ave., Alliance, OH 44601. Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
