Carrie L. Hallett, age 83, of Alliance, died at 8:25 a.m. Dec. 15, 2006 at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born June 20, 1923 in Marietta, Ohio to David O. and Rebecca (Holiday) Erb.
Mrs. Hallett was a member of the Alliance Church of the Nazarene since the late 1960's.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse D. Hallett, whom she married June 15, 1946; sons, Milton D. (Cheri) Hallett of Sebring, Rex A. (Florence) Hallett of Alliance; daughter, Jessie Sue (Fred) Wells of Marietta, Oh.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Pearl Erb of Reading, Pa., David L. Erb of Lowell, Oh., Dale Erb of Vincent, Oh., John Erb, of Warner, Oh., and Ronald Erb of Marietta, Oh.; and sisters, Jeanette Neville of Marietta, Oh., Hester McCain of Marietta, Oh., Ruth Morris of Marietta, Oh., Bonnie Williams of Marietta, Oh., and Imogene Tidd of Newport, Oh.
Mrs. Hallett was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Ina Erb, brothers, Virgil, Herbert, Raymond, William, James, and Gary Erb; sister, Mary Lou Erb, and an infant brother.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Alliance Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Kevin Simpson officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
