Cassie M. Lemaster, age 74 of Alliance, died at 9:25 a.m. March 13, 2007 at Canterbury Villa of Alliance.
She was born Aug. 27, 1932 in Middlebourne, West Virginia to Walter and Dewie (McCormick) Lancaster and lived in the Alliance area most of her life.
Mrs. Lemaster worked as a nurses aid for various nursing homes in the area.
A loving grandmother, she is survived by her husband, John Lemaster, whom she married Dec. 29, 1949; sons, Roger DeWayne (Sue) Lemaster of Alliance, Michael Ray (Leanne) Lemaster of Alliance; two grandsons, Gregory and Jonathon of Alliance; two granddaughters, Gayle Lemaster of Minerva, and Kira Freer of Sebring; four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Grace Lancaster of Wellsburg W. Va., and Naomi VanDyne of Weirton, W. Va., and one brother, Carl Lancaster, of Porters Falls, W. Va.
Mrs. Lemaster was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Wanda Conley, Geneva Straight, Audrey Midcap, and Almeda Lemaster, and four brothers, Walter, Dale, Eugene and Toy.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Delaney officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
