Cathy Ann Hickman-Johnston age 47 of Alliance, died at McCrea Manor Nursing Home at 7:25 a.m. September 27, 2004.
Cathy was born January 14, 1957 in Alliance, Ohio to Ervin and Ann (Hickman) Hartman and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Cathy was employed by Coastal Pet, and was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include her mother Ann, one sister Carol (Richard) Longaberger of Alliance, one brother Gary (Tina) Hartman, of Alliance; two daughters Tara Johnston of the home, and Crystal (Shawn) Blackbird of Canton; cousins Sandy Shell, Debbie Hoerig, Sharon Hawkins, Helen Sloat, Norman Hickman, Ray Hickman, and Richard Hickman, all of Alliance; nieces and nephews Kenny and Kimmy Moats, and Kevin and Kala Hartman, and one uncle James (Dorothy) Eberling.
She was preceded in death by her father, one sister Kimmy Hartman, and one brother Ervin Hartman Jr.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Chester Bryant officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
