Charlene Vance Dotson, age 48 of Hockley, Texas and formerly of Alliance, died at 11:35 p.m. December 12, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She was born August 2, 1957 in Alliance, Ohio to William and Eldora (Warner) Vance and lived most of her life in the Alliance area.
Mrs. Dotson graduated from Marlington High School in 1974 and attended Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.
She was employed by Kingwood College as a Food Director.
Charlene greatly enjoyed horseback riding and going camping.
Survivors include her mother, Eldora Vance of Alliance, her husband Robert Dotson, whom she married Oct. 2, 1998, one daughter Christina Reutski of Alliance, two brothers, Donald E. (Barbara) Vance of Cedarville, Ohio and Dennis H. Vance of Alliance, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Phillips officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
