Charlene L. Keyser

Charlene L. Keyser, age 77, passed away on August 9, 2023.

She was born on September 5, 1945, in Wheeling, WV, to Bernard and Erma (Reyna) Fronckel.

She graduated from Brilliant Memorial High School in 1963 and then obtained her LPN degree from Fayettville Tech. Charlene worked at various facilities as a nurse for 38 years. She was a member of Vine Street United Methodist Church.

Charlene enjoyed traveling, crocheting and doing word searches. She was caring, thoughtful, and always giving.  Relatives would comment how she always remembered to send cards for special occasions. More than anything, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and watching them in their activities.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Cox-Vagotis, Dawn Riley, and Darla Marsh; grandchildren, Ashley, Shawn, Nikki, Ariel, Zachary, Mackenzie, and James; great-grandchildren, Carsen, Brody, and Savannah; and sister, Susan Kendrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Keyser; and sister, Phyllis Norris.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 15th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.The funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Atwater Cemetery.
