Charles Richard "Boob" Donohoe age 90, of Alliance, died at 2:05 a.m. Monday May 12, 2003 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born in Dunn Glenn, Ohio on August 24, 1912 to Charles R. and Rose (Ruble) Donohoe, and lived in Alliance since 1919.
Mr. Donohoe was employed as a truck driver for R. Kuntzman for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, former member of BPOE # 467, life member of Dr. Roaches Outdoor League, and past president, Good Sam RV Club, Carnation Wing #95 Camping Club, Past President of the Fireside Class First Baptist Church, and Teamsters Retirement Club Local 92. Mr. Donohoe was an Ohio National Guard Battery "C" 135 F.A. veteran.
Mr. Donohoe is survived by his wife Virginia Ruth (Scheu) Donohoe, whom he married September 28, 1968, sons Charles R. Donohoe of Continental, CO, and Bruce E. Donohoe of Reynoldsburg, OH, stepsons Neal W. McNutt of Gilbert, AZ, and David L. McNutt of Struthers, OH, step-daughter Terry Lynn of Yucca Valley, CA, 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, one sister Edna Ungro of Alliance, and two brothers Samuel Donohoe Sr. and J.D. Donohoe both of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Agnes, two sisters Eleanor George and Edith Fisher, and one brother George Donohoe.
