Charles E. Goshorn, age 66 of Alliance died on December 9, 2005 at Aultman Hospital. He was born August 12, 1939 to William and Mae (Wiley) Goshorn and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Goshorn retired in 2004 from Park Farms in Canton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking and sports.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Scott) Brown of Bellingham, WA and Lyn (Michael) Snedden of Hilliard, OH; grandsons, Jay Anderson and Temirlan Snedden; granddaughter, Nicole Snedden, all of Hilliard, OH and his beloved beagle Spike. He is also survived by brothers, William Goshorn, Ralph Goshorn, and Guy (Ola) Goshorn; sisters, Betty (Brady) Scholl, Barb (Arnold) Patton, Martha (Paul) Schweizer, Shirley (Kenneth) Crowe, and Joan (Ed) Pawlak; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia (Spade) Goshorn, in 2002; and brothers, Robert Goshorn and John Goshorn.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home at 11:00AM with Pastor Ed Harnish officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Stroke Association, 5455 N. High St. P.O. Box 163549 Columbus, OH 43216.
