Charles P. "Bud"
Howe, age 72, of Alliance, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born December 11, 1945, in Alliance, Ohio, to Charles and Mary (Gaiser) Howe. A 1963 graduate of Marlington High School, Bud was a Certified Electrician, and formerly worked in maintenance for Sancap. Bud enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. He especially enjoyed having coffee with his friends, and going fishing and hunting. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served as an Aviation Structural and Safety Mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn (Battershell) Howe, whom he married August 16, 1968; children, Matthew (Betty Jo) Howe, Amy Howe, and Mark (Tammy) Howe; four grandchildren, Tony, Patrick Brooke and Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Kadence and Garrett; one sister, Sharon Irick; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Mary Lee. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to Lexington Fire Department. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
