Charles Hunter, age 64, of Alliance, died at 11:29 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born December 15, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina to Charles Wright and Annabelle Hunter.
Charles was formerly employed by American Steel Foundries. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann (Menegay) Hunter, whom he married July 2, 2008; four sons, Henry Hunter of Canton, Ohio, Charles (Felicia) Major of North Carolina, Nathan Hunter of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and Alfonso Pryor; daughter, Dell Marie (Frederick) Owens, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; three stepdaughters, Ashley and Abigail Stillion of Sebring, and Andrea Bynum of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Tiffany Hunter of Bronx, New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at Noon Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Anointed Fountain Church of God in Christ, 405 East Columbia St. Alliance, Ohio, with Pastor Elder Nick H. Myers Jr. officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to Noon prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
