Charles Allen Leeman peacefully returned to his heavenly Father, Wednesday, April 14, 2010.
He was born November 11, 1930 to Wendell and Bennie (Smith) Leeman.
He and his twin brother, Edward, enjoyed idyllic childhoods in Bonham, Texas before going their separate ways.
After serving during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard and the USS Virgo, Charlie earned a mechanical engineering degree from Texas Tech University. He was employed by Babcock and Wilcox-McDermott from 1957 to 1994.
A faithful and active member of the First United Presbyterian Church, he served joyfully for 53 years in numerous capacities. Charles loved our Lord, his family, friends, and all the natural world.
Left to thank God for his life and treasure his memory are his wife, Joann (Snyder); daughters, Lynn of Buffalo, New York and Kimberly of Port Wing, Wisconsin; son, Mark (Anne) and grandchildren, Josiah, Samuel and Maria of Cincinnati; and his brothers, Edward (June) of Tijeras, New Mexico, and Bob (Rachel) of Bonham, Texas.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the First United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim McCurdy officiating.
