Cheryl S. Durm

Cheryl S. Durm, age 73, of Alliance, passed away at 11:35 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019 at her home.

She was born April 19, 1946 in Alliance, Ohio to Arthur and Ruth Miller.

Cheryl was a high school graduate and formerly employed as a nurse’s assistant at various nursing homes in the area.

She enjoyed playing bingo and going shopping. She was a member of the former Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Post 2174 and the DAV Post No. 50, both in Alliance.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda L. (Roger) Wade of Littleton, West Virginia; son, Brian S. Durm of Alliance; three grandsons, two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren; sister, Stacia Wilson and brother, Larry Miller, both of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry L. Durm whom she married May 28, 1966 and who died March 29, 2005; and three brothers.

Family will receive friends from 11-Noon Saturday, August 17th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
