Christina M. Orlando, age 75, of Canal Fulton, formerly of Alliance, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Gaslite Villa in Canal Fulton.
She was born February 13, 1936, in Alliance to Christ Hustus and Mary (Riffle) Hustus Bradway.
Mrs. Orlando was former owner of the Orange Crate Craft Shop for 29 years and previously worked as a meat wrapper for nine years at the former Persky's. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and enjoyed making crafts.
Survivors include her son, Stephen (Kathy) Orlando of Canal Fulton; granddaughter, Jamie Orlando; brothers, John Hustus of Va., Mike Hustus of Fla., and Nicholas Hustus of Alliance; sisters, Vee Ward of Ravenna, Freda Cunningham of N. Canton, Helen Haynes of Sebring, Angela McNicol of Or., and Anna Zumkehr of Alliance.
Mrs. Orlando was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tony Orlando, whom she married October 20, 1956 and who died July 11, 2010; and brother, Louis Hustus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2011, at Regina Coeli Catholic Church concelebrated by Fr. Howard Ziemba and Fr. Michael Seifert. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
