Christine G Lombardi

Christine G. Lombardi, age 68, of Alliance, passed away at 1 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2017, at McKinley Health Care Center in Canton after battling a long illness.
She was born December 11, 1948, in Alliance, Ohio, to William E. and Ida M. (Andreani) Hinchliffe.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Christine received her LPN degree from Aultman School of Nursing in 1978, and was formerly employed by Alliance Community Hospital, several local physicians, and Alliance Visiting Nurses.
Christine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her cats and dogs, reading, country line dancing and visiting Williamsburg, Virginia. She was a Mary Kay Consultant and very innovative.
She is survived by her husband, Randy L. Lombardi, whom she married April 11, 1994; two sons, Kirk A. (Michelle) McGeehen of North Ridgeville and Keith A. (Vicki) McGeehen of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Sarah Christine, Jenna Elizabeth, Brendan Allan, Grant Edward, Grace Elizabeth and Jase and Kaiden; sister, Denise (David) Bruni of Alliance; niece, Dena (Michael) Flowers of Sebring; nephew, Daniel (Kimberly) Bruni of Alliance; great-nephews, Gavin and Ryan; stepdaughter, Angela (Gary) Gates and their daughter, Katie of Canton; step-son, Christopher (Tiffany) Lombardi of Canton; and many cousins.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Fr. Matthew Mankowski of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
