Christopher John Blaser

Christopher John Blaser, age 47, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at University Hospital in Ravenna.

He was born March 11, 1973 in Alliance, Ohio to John and Karen (Corbi) Blaser. A 1991 graduate of Alliance High School, Chris graduated from Mount Union College in 1996 with a degree in Computer Science.

Chris was self-employed working with web site design. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Alliance, and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Mount Union.

Chris helped design the Alliance High School Alumni Foundation Newsletter with his brother, Scott.  He enjoyed watching movies, reading, and working with computers.

He will be loved and missed by his family, including, his wife, Stacy (Blake), whom he married June 16, 2012; his mother, Karen Blaser; his brother, Scott Blaser, both of Alliance; sister, Rebecca (Alex) Grinch, of Norman, Oklahoma; niece, Corbi Grinch; nephew, Tyler Grinch; longtime friends, Dan Ashley and Jeff Martin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, Thurman and Mary Louise Blaser, and maternal grandparents, Mario and Helen Corbi.

A private family service will be held. Chris will be laid to rest at Mount Union Cemetery.
