Claire Springer

Claire Springer, age 83, passed away on October 29, 2022.

She was born on March 25, 1939, in Ohio, to George and Lela (Yochum) Steineck.

Claire graduated from Louisville High School. She then received her degree from Mount Union College before beginning her work as a music teacher at Marlington High School. Claire loved music, baseball and the Purple Raiders. She attended Union Avenue United Methodist Church and played in the hand bell choir.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Virgil Springer; cousins; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private memorial service will be held at Copeland Oaks due to COVID restrictions. The funeral service will be live-streamed and can be viewed at the bottom of her obituary on the funeral home's website.
