Clara Natelisia (Galante) Patterson, age 84, of Alliance, died at 2:16 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mrs. Patterson was born March 1, 1923 to Joseph and Natelesia (Spada) Galante.
She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, member of Funtastiks, a lector of the church and member of the worship committee, Alliance Senior Center and Past president of Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus. Her hobbies included traveling, sewing, and crafting.
Mrs. Patterson was previously employed at Coastal Pet and at Universal Co-Operatives Inc. She spent more than 20 years as a volunteer at Alliance Community Hospital. She was also an active member in the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Survivors include daughters, Kathleen (Joseph) Pronio of Talmadge, and Elizabeth (James) Whittaker of Bolivar; six grandchildren, Chalice Brown, Kendra (Marc) Flack, Kyle and Kirk Whittaker, Jacob and Katerina Pronio; and two great grandchildren Sierra and Natelisia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard E. Patterson, whom she married February 14, 1942; and a son, Michael Patterson who died July 26, 1989.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Donald Feicht officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
