Clarence W. Deuvall, age 84, of Alliance, loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved his family dearly, passed away at 4:29 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born, September 27, 1925, in Alliance, Ohio to the late Chester and Gertrude (King) Deuvall.
Clarence was a member of the Vine Street United Methodist Church. He was a retired postal clerk with 37 years of service and former member of the Alliance Elks Club. He was also an avid golfer and bowler.
Surviving him is his loving wife, Evelyn (Bell) Deuvall of Alliance with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage; son, Randall E. (Debra) Deuvall and daughter, Deborah J. Hall, both of Alliance; four granddaughters Stephanie (Jeremy) Ross of Louisville, Elizabeth Hall of Alliance, Melissa (Shawn) Molohon of Louisville, Kentucky and Jennifer (Denver) Lucas of Sebring; and three great-grandchildren, Mia, Alexander and Zachary. He will be greatly missed and was loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred R. Deuvall; and son-in-law, Clifford W. Hall.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Vine St. United Methodist Church with Dr. David Bloor officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
