Clayton E. Wilson, age 88 of Alliance, passed away at his home at 1:44 a.m. Sunday, October 13, 2013.
He was born February 1, 1925 in Ithaca, New York to Clayton and Mary (Beverly) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson retired in 1975 after 32 years of service at Commercial Shearing.
A member of Alliance Baptist Temple, Clayton also belonged to the Dante; and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Helen (Willis) Wilson, whom he married June 10, 1994; step children, William (Nancy) Roosa, Robin Roosa, and Candy (Rick) Metzgar, all of Alliance; seven step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Jean Gay; sisters, Blanche and Ruth, brother, Roy Wilson; step-sons Neal Roosa and Reginald Roosa, and one step-great-grandson, Noah Wise.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday October 16, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
