Clifton C. Gray, age 94, of Alliance, died at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Canterbury Villa.
He was born January 17, 1914 in Alliance to Frank and Melba (Craft) Gray and lived in the Alliance area all of his life.
Clifton was an Alliance High School graduate. He retired as a security guard and formerly owned Gray's Sporting Goods in Alliance.
He is survived by his daughter Jean F. (Terry) Wales of Hartville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Stephanie Roach and Joshua Wales; and one great-granddaughter, Brittni Roach.
Clifton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frances J Baier who died in 1968; brother Russell J. Gray and very special friend, Alice Ditty.
