Clive L. Martin
Clive L. Martin, age 77 of Alliance, died at his home at 8:15 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2005.
He was born April 28, 1928 in Glace, West Virginia, to Lydia Martin and worked as a chainman at American Steel Foundries for 25 years, retiring in 1990.
Clive is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Martin) Martin, whom he married Aug. 8, 1953; one daughter, Sherry May (Albert) Mathis of Minerva, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Ralph Norman, Minister of First Christian Church in Minerva. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
