Clyde Moore

Clyde W. "Smoke" Moore, age 67 of Alliance, died at 12:19 p.m. July 25, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born January 14, 1937 in Alliance, Ohio to Edward and Mabel (Wood) Moore Sr., and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Moore graduated from Alliance High School. He was previously employed by the former Alliance Taxi Company as a dispatcher, and was currently employed by the Roma Society in Alliance.
A U.S. Army veteran, Clyde was a life member of Roma Society and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries #2174, in addition to being a member of Moose Lodge #362, Dante, Christopher Columbus and VFW Post 1036.
Mr. Moore was an avid bowler with the Men's Bowling Association, an avid bocce player, and Yankees fanatic.
Survivors include one daughter Tracy and David Schrader Sr. of Alliance and their children David Schrader Jr. and Emily Schrader, both of Alliance; one brother Edward and Joan Moore Jr. of Alliance, and their children; Ron and Sally Moore, Randy and Diana Moore, Lynn and Mike Zamagias, Rick and Ann Moore, and Marie and Matt Trainer, all of Alliance; one sister Shirley and Art Eggleston of Largo, Florida and their children Linda Eggleston, Mabie Jo Eggleston, and Bill Eggleston, all of Florida, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
