Cora Hempsky, age 69, of North Canton, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born October 19, 1948, in Akron to Dale L. and Valentina A. (DeMarco) Hempsky.
A 1966 graduate of Marlington High School and a graduate of Timken Mercy Radiology School, she retired from Family Physicians in Canton after many years of service.
Cora was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed traveling, reading and spoiling her cats, Tiggy and Satin. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her five sisters, Tina (Stephen) Schilling, Candice (Greg) Finn, Michele (Eric) Fryfogle, Cheryl (Tom) Moriarty and Kimberly Akins; nine nieces and nephews; one great niece and four great nephews.
Cora was preceded in death by her parents, her father in 1995, her mother, October 8, 2017 and her niece in 1996.
A private service will be held at a later date.
