Corinne Tribley

Corinne R. Tribley, age 73, of New York City, passed away from cancer on June 28, 2006. She was born in Alliance on Sept. 21, 1932 to Jay Ellsworth Tribley and Doris (Curtiss) Tribley. She was a graduate of Alliance High School and Mount Union College and received her Masters in Library Science from Columbia University. She was a Librarian for the Engineering Societies Library in New York City until retiring in 1987.
She is survived by her mother and cousins, Richard Curtiss Jr., Janet Curtiss (Kenneth) Worth, Patricia Curtiss (Michael) Draa, Douglas (Kathy) Curtiss, Larry Lapp, Eleanor Mansfield (Adel) Gawdat, Katharine Mansfield (Rae) Garnar, Roberta Mansfield Williams, and Bruce (Sandra) Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, one cousin, Douglas Mansfield, and aunts and uncles, Richard and Peggy Curtiss, Robert and Eleanor Mansfield, Wilton and Ruth Lapp, and Gus and Esther Limstrom.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday Aug. 17, 2006 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
