Craig M. Locke, age 65, of Alliance, died unexpectedly at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born in Alliance, Ohio, May 15, 1943, to C.M. and Betty J. (Stork) Locke and was a lifelong resident.
A 1961 graduate of Alliance High School, Craig retired as a Tinner from Alliance Castings and the former American Steel Foundries.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in the Vietnam Era.
Craig was a member of Alliance-Salem United Methodist Church where he was active with the church bowling league. He was a member of the Washington Ruritans and enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Janice (Ramser) Locke whom he married August 23, 1969; two children, Chris (Stephanie) Locke of Atwater and Michelle (Greg) Noll of Louisville; two grandchildren, Rebekah Locke and Anna Noll; his father, C.M. Locke of Alliance and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Ramser of Alliance.
Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Locke, in 2004.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Orchard officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
