Dale Lautzenheiser

Dale L. Lautzenheiser, devoted husband, dad, son and brother, age 46, of Alliance, passed away Friday afternoon, May 22, 2020 at Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center.

He was born on October 29, 1973 in Salem, Ohio to Dean L. and Louise J. (Denny) Lautzenheiser.

Dale began mowing at 14, riding his John Deere around Damascus.  From those early days he built an industrious family business Dale’s Lawn Care Inc. servicing 3 states.

He was a 1992 graduate of West Branch High School and was a member of Damascus Friends Church. Dale was very meticulous, a hardworking man who enjoyed traveling, and cars. But most of all he loved spending time with his loving family, including their family trips.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Joy (Maye) Lautzenheiser whom he married September 23, 1995; son, Cody (Carli) Lautzenheiser; daughters Anissa (Brenden) DeSanzo, Madison (Dale Miller) Lautzenheiser; first grandson due in August, Rowen Dale Lautzenheiser; his mother, Louise; sister, Lanette (Larry) Elasivich; brother Larry (Cindy) Lautzenheiser; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be held at Damascus Friends Church on Friday May 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. Pastor John Ryser will be officiating. Calling hours will be held at Damascus Friends Church from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday May 28, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, Dale’s family suggests making a memorial contribution to the Dale Lautzenheiser Family Missionary Scholarship in his honor.
