Dale L. Grubb

Dale L. Grubb, age 74, of Alliance, passed away at 3:45 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center.

He was born May 21, 1945, in Alliance, Ohio to Lewis and Opal (Martin) Grubb.

Dale was a 1964 graduate of Alliance High School and a Veteran of the United States Army having served from 1964-1968. He was employed at the former Alliance Drop Forge and also the Wright Tool and Forge Company until his retirement.

He was a former Master of the Lexington Grange and the Ruritan’s Club. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Donna J. (Walborn) Grubb of Alliance whom he married in 1969 and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; daughter, Valerie Ann Grubb and son, Brian Lewis (Carrie) Grubb, both of Alliance; granddaughter, Brennah Grubb; brother, Virgil (Nada) Grubb of Minerva; and many nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene Grubb; and sister, Loretta Cameron.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
