Dana W. Duff, age 74, of Atwater, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his home.
He was born January 21, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia, to Rex Duff and Kathryn (Ransom) Duff.
Dana graduated from the former Marlboro High School and was employed as an electrician at General Motors before retiring after 25 years of service.
He formerly attended Marlboro Christian Church and enjoyed watching sports, especially his grandchildren's games.
Dana was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Helen (Szekely) Duff of Atwater; two sons, Dana L. (Stephanie) Duff and Jerry L. (Robin) Duff, all of Louisville; four grandchildren, Danielle, Rachel, Audrey and Keith Duff; family friend and caregiver, Michael Brewton of Canton; sister, Carroll (Dick) Candle of Akron; brother, Rex Duff of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Loretta Dinkelman.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Harnish officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
