Daniel R. Dalesandro, age 70, of Alliance, passed away at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Canterbury Villa.
He was born March 8, 1944, in Alliance, Ohio, to Fred and Wilda (Bell) Dalesandro-Dickson.
Daniel was a member of Carnation City Baptist Church, enjoyed going to church and reading the Bible. He was employed as an inspector with Ford Motor Company for 28 years until his retirement in 1994.
He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Maria R. (Garcia) Dalesandro of Alliance, whom he married September 10, 1977; sons, Joseph Dalesandro and Frank Dalesandro, both of Alliance; stepsons, Alfredo Flores, Jr. of Alliance, Roberto Flores of Defiance and Eugene K. Flores of Alliance; brothers, Dave Dalesandro of Alliance and Jerry Dalesandro of Virginia Beach, Va; sister, Diana Dalesandro of Canton; sister-in-law, Amelia (Bruno) Natale; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jeanne Cochran and Peggy Dalesandro; and step-son, Daniel Flores.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2014, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Dodson, Chaplain, Alliance Community Hospital officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
