Daniel James Qualk, age 68 of Alliance, died at his home August 3, 2004.
He was born November 12, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to Howard Joseph and Sarah Elizabeth (Wilson) Qualk, and was a lifelong Atwater resident.
Mr. Qualk was a Millwright Supervisor at Transue and Williams and had served in the Air Force.
Survivors include one son Daniel (Donna) Qualk of Bellmawr, N.J., two daughters Debra Qualk of Alliance, and Pamela (Buck) Beck of Beloit, one step-son Dennis Kay of Alliance, two step-daughters Laura (Pete) Hoffius of Alliance, and Christine Kay of TN, eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four brothers Walt (Ann) Qualk, C.J. Qualk, Bob (JoAnn) Qualk, and Duke Qualk, three sisters Jane Courtney, Dori (Wally) Schneeberger, and Alice (Wayne) Blazer, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held. Friends may call from Noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
