Danita Reed

Danita L. Reed, age 50 of Alliance, died at 9 a.m. October 26, 2006 at home.
She was born July 6, 1956 in Alliance to Dan and Alice Mae (Rohrer) Colucci and was a lifelong resident.
Danita was a 1975 graduate of Alliance High School.
She was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple where she sang in the church choir. Mrs. Reed was a fundraiser for Boy Scouts of America and had a heart as pure as gold.
Survivors include her husband Ronald W. Reed Sr. of Alliance whom she married June 28, 1975 with whom she was married thirty years and celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows; daughter Allison L. Reed; son Ronald W. Reed Jr. both of Alliance; grandson Dylan T. McKenney; siblings Russell E. LaFever of Raleigh N.C., Cheryl A. (Colucci) Dean of Dublin, OH, Chuck A. (Amy) Colucci and Mary A. (Colucci) Dragomir both of Alliance and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Alliance Baptist Temple with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
