Danny James Yeagley, age 63 of Alliance, died at his home at 10:10 p.m. Monday June 14, 2004.
He was born November 19, 1940 in Alliance, Ohio to James and Esther Clark Yeagley and was a lifelong resident.
A graduate of Alliance High School, he attended Kent State University, and was employed by General Motors as a Coordinator, retiring in 1999. Danny was an avid sportsman, knife maker and gunsmith.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Conrad Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, and member of the U.A.W. Local 1112.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen A. Beutler Yeagley, whom he married December 21, 1981, four sons David Yeagley of Wisconsin, Scott Yeagley, James (Lorie) Yeagley, and Lane (Jocelyn) Yeagley, all of Alliance; two step-sons Jeffrey (Tina) Mitzel of Alliance and Christopher (Kim) Mitzel of Sebring, two step-daughters Lisa Mitzel of Alliance and Debra Hurford of Sebring, 21 grandchildren, father and mother- in-law, Ronald and Virginia Beutler, brother-in-laws, Roger (Carol) Beutler of Naperville, Il and Wayne Beutler of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Shawn Weese and one brother-in-law Glenn Beutler.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Thomas officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Masonic Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday by Conrad Masonic Lodge #271.
