Darlene Kinnison

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Darlene Kinnison, who left this world on August 9th 2024 at the age of 81. Born on May 26 1943, Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Evelyn Huston.

Darlene's life was a testament to faith, kindness and compassion. Her nurturing spirit made her the heart of our family, and her gentle presence brought comfort and joy to all who had the privilege of being in her company. Whether through her warm embrace, annual birthday serenade to you, or her simple acts of love, Darlene deeply touched all.

She was a dedicated aunt, whose weekend rides in her convertible or greatly anticipated trips to the Shopping Mall will forever be memories held deep in the hearts of her nieces and nephews. 

Darlene is survived by two loving sisters, Yvonne Seffens of Norwalk, Ohio and Patti Desuyo of Jacksonville, Fl. As well as many adoring nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom carry forward her legacy of compassion and love. 

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Darlene’s lifelong love and compassion for animals, the family request donations be made to their local SPCA.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15th from 11am-Noon at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Payne officiating.  Darlene will be laid to rest at Mt. Union Cemetery.
