Darlene G. Howell

Darlene G. Howell, age 79, of Alliance, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Canterbury Villa.

She was born February 15, 1940, in Alliance, Ohio, to Andrew Jr. and Elizabeth E. (Williams) Czikra and was a lifelong Alliance resident.

Darlene was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Voyagers Sunday school class and Christ United Methodist Church Women. She was also the church librarian.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher Howell and Andrew D. (Leonora) Howell; daughters, Debra (Steven) Toussant, Ada D. McClure (fiancé, Bill Starcher) and Barbara Howell; four grandsons; four granddaughters; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Howell; son, William Thomas Howell; son-in-law, Steve Toussant; two brothers and a sister.

Services will be held at Noon Wednesday, January 8, 2019 at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. John Partridge officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-Noon prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 470 E. Broadway St. Alliance, OH 44601.
