Darryl D. Terrell

Darryl D. Terrell, age 58, of Massillon, passed away on February 23, 2022.

He was born on March 25, 1963 in Alliance to Warren and Sammy Lee (Clark) Bynum.

Darryl worked at West Stark Workshop. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Darryl loved music and dancing; he especially enjoyed James Brown. He was a fun-loving person. Darryl attended church every Sunday at First Baptist Church  in Massillon under Rev. Roger Alber with Joan Burdge.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father; his siblings, Beverly Crowder, Karol Danzy, Johnnie Gould, Michael (Darlisa) Terrell, Teresa Dixon-Bynum, Lynn Hawkins, Charlene Anthony and Tonja Donadelle-Spenser; his significant other, Pearline Carpenter; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and siblings, Stanford Terrell, Joyce Clark Bryant and Terry “Bill Jim” Harris.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Pastors Bobby Williams and Gregory Samson will officiate. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery. The family asks that those attending the service please wear masks.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wilson Residential, Rev. Roger Alber, Joan Burdge, West Stark Workshop and Aultman Medical ICU.
