David L. Albert

David L. Albert, age 80, passed away on June 14, 2023.

He was born on January 26, 1943, in Alliance, to Ross L. and Helen Albert.

David graduated from Alliance High School in 1961 and attended Mount Union College. He worked as a purchasing agent for American Steel Foundries until his retirement in 1997. David then went on to work for WHBC Radio Station, and later Big Time Sports as a statistician for football and basketball.

David served as a board member, treasurer and coach for ACSC soccer. He also coached for West Branch Soccer League and was   a long term treasurer for Club Fifty Eight Investment Club. David was also a part of the Marlington Athletic Booster Club.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy, whom he married on February 12, 1971; his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Black; grandchildren, Dezerae Albert, Deaunna Earley, and David Earley; great-grandson, Carson Jacko; and sister, Susan M. Protho.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Albert.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 21st at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
