David Peter Cipriano, age 68, of Alliance, died unexpectedly at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
He was born May 16, 1940 in Ravenna, Ohio to Peter and Susan (Brecky) Cipriano.
David was a 1958 graduate of Ravenna High School and a National Guard Veteran. He was a member and past treasurer of the Portage County Chapter of the Ohio Horsemen's Council, a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association and an avid golfer.
He was retired from the former family business, Portage Tax Service.
Survivors include his mother, Susan (Brecky) Cipriano of Aurora; his wife, Lottie L. (Palmer) Cipriano, whom he married August 8, 1979; one son, Michael (Pamela) Cipriano of Mantua, three daughters, Cheryl (Steven) Inks of Lilburn, Georgia, Deborah (James) Malloy and Sandra (Jeffrey) Oyster, both of Alliance; six grandchildren, Kimberly, Lauren, Hannah, Abby, Hayden and Isaac; and one brother, James (Elisa) Cipriano of Pauma Valley, California.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
