David S. Edwards

David S. Edwards, age 66, of Alliance passed away peacefully at Alliance Community Hospital on January 21, 2021.

He was born on February 2, 1954 in Gassaway, West Virginia to Homer and Savina (Weese) Edwards.

David was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He was a pottery worker at Royal China and previously worked for American Steel Foundries and Walmart. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and cycling.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joan (Skolosh) Edwards, whom he married January 8, 1993; his son, Clayton Edwards; sister, Marilyn King; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Houle and brother, Richard Edwards.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday the 27th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Muse officiating. Friends may call one hour prior.
