David G. Harsh, age 54, of Alliance passed away at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born September 26, 1955, in Alliance, Ohio, to Paul and Dolores (Gwynne) Harsh and was a lifetime Alliance residence.
A 1974 graduate of Alliance High School, David was employed at Alliance City Hospital in maintenance and later employed with Press Works Print Shop in screen prep.
He loved fishing, hunting, wrestling and his dog, Ozzy.
Survivors include his parents of Alliance; fianc?, Betty Smarr and her son, Jimmy Nuzum, both of Alliance; son, Jeffrey Harsh of Alliance, daughter, Carrie (Josh) Lane; grandchildren, Ethan and Colton Lane, all of Alliance; brother, Michael (Nancy) Harsh of Alliance; sisters, Cheryl Harsh of Alliance and Lori (Michael) Chlysta of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Megan Elliott officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market St., Suite 100, Akron, Ohio 44406-9274 or to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St. Canfield, Ohio 44406.
