David Hoover, age 59, of Alliance, died Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Akron General Medical Center.
He was born June 6, 1957, in Alliance, Ohio, to Dale L. and Mary C. (Chenot) Hoover.
A 1975 graduate of Marlington High School, David enjoyed playing cards and watching old westerns.
Survivors include his father, Dale L. Hoover, of Alliance; brothers and sisters, Shirley (Jim) Slabaugh of Alliance, Roger (Debbie) Hoover of Canton, John (Kathy) Hoover, and Paul (Laura) Hoover, all of Alliance; and Barbara (Kevin) Pucci of California; 13 nieces and nephews; 14 grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.
David was preceded in death by his mother.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
As a registered donor, David hoped to bring healing to others.
