David Jeffrey Jones

David Jeffrey Jones, age 66, of Alliance, passed away at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center.

He was born September 18, 1954 in Alliance, Ohio to David J. Jones Jr., and Evelyn (Penrod) Jones.

A graduate of Alliance High School, David was employed as a Millwright and Tool and Roll Grinder for PTC Alliance, until retiring in 2016.

David enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and building model cars.  He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife,        Mary (Francis) Jones, whom he married August 20, 1976; children, Jessica (Wesley) Jones Steed of Fresno, CA, David Jones, Jason (Samantha) Jones, and Mary (Jesse) Farrar, all of Alliance; five grandchildren; brother Jamie Jones of Alliance, and sister, Cynthia Leeson of Fla.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

Per David’s request, no services will be held at this time.
