David R. Kinsey, age 62, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday May 30, 2013, at Manorcare in Canton, after his battle with cancer.
He was born February 9, 1951, in Ravenna, to Howard R. and Charlotte G. (Reynolds) Kinsey.
A graduate of Marlington High School, David was a truck driver for Kinsey Trucking and for Roadway Express. He was a member of New Pointe Community Church.
He enjoyed deer hunting, riding his motorcycle and coin collecting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters, Amy (Jay) Piacella of Brimfield, Amanda Kinsey and Alicia Kinsey, both of Homeworth; grandchildren, Jillian, Sydney, Devon, and Drew; sister, Belinda (Dennis) Monter of Johnstown; niece, Shannon (Mike) Skidmore of Pickerington; nephew, Shawn Monter of Blacklick; and former wife, Janet (Johnston) Vance.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Caldwell officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
