David V. Kuhaneck

David V. Kuhaneck, age 61, of Alliance, died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at his home.
He was born April 11, 1949, in Alliance, Ohio, to Vincent Frank and Carol Joan (Throne) Kuhaneck.
David was a graduate of Alliance High School and was in the top 10 percent of his class. He was a graduate of Ohio University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. David then earned his Medical Degree and Psychiatry Degree from the University of Cincinnati.
David retired as a Psychiatrist, after working in Alaska for many years.
David was very spiritual, but had no religious affiliation. He belonged to several psychiatric professional organizations.
He is survived by his mother; siblings, Fred (Sue), Pat, Larry, John (Sara), Harriett, Vince (Marsha) Kuhaneck and Virginia (Rusty) Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father; and a brother, Rick.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010 in the chapel at Union Avenue United Methodist Church with Rev. Hoyte Wilhelm officiating.
