Dawn Marie McClarren

Dawn Marie McClarren, age 57, passed away on May 15, 2023.

She was born on August 22, 1965, in Alliance, to James McClarren and Patricia Marie Brown.

Dawn attended Eastgate School where she was involved with various activities and won many awards. She also enjoyed her time working at the Carnation Mall and Dollar General.  Dawn was grateful and compassionate and never met a stranger.  She loved life and will be missed by those who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her cousins that she lived with, Angela (Grover) Tanner; step-mother, Cindy McClarren; siblings, Ricky (Cayla) Simpson and Brenda (Richard) Smith; aunts and uncles, Fred (Grace) Brown, Rick (Karen) Brown, Debbie (Rich) Rhoads, Linda McClarren, Joyce McClarren, Karen Hamon and Tim Johnson and Margaret Alzner; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Tim Muse officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, Dawn’s family graciously asks that donations be made to Stark DD Special Olympics, which Dawn was a proud participant, at 2950 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH, 44708, attention Paula Gardner.
